Thanksgiving

Dawson had his first Thanksgiving! We spent the holiday with friends here in NC. Brian's mom came to visit as well!

Dawson is 8 weeks old!

Dawson is growing and changing every day! He will already be 2 months old next week! He is starting to smile all the time and is making cute noises! He loves his swing and he likes to ride in the car. As you can see, he sometimes likes to spit up his dinner too! He is so much fun and is such a sweetie!

Dawson is One Month Old!

Baby Dawson is doing great! We can't believe that he is already one month old! He is growing and changing and now weighs 10 lbs.! Brian had to go to ID for 2 weeks for training but thankfully my oldest sister Tiffani came for 5 days then my twin sister, Dori, her husband Jesse and my sweet niece, Hazel came for a week. They were so much help and we had a lot of fun together! Brian returned home Thur. Oct. 30th. Dawson and I are so glad he is back! We are enjoying every day with Dawson and we are so blessed by him! He is a really good sleeper and is on a good eating schedule. He is a very sweet baby!

Birth of Baby Dawson!!

Dawson Paul Davis was born on Oct. 2, 2008! He arrived at 2:22 p.m. He weighs 7 lbs. 15 oz. and is 22.5 inches long. Labor was harder than I had hoped but well worth the reward! We are so blessed with a beautiful boy and could not be more thrilled! We are so thankful that he is healthy and still can't believe that he is actually our baby! We will be leaving the hospital and bringing our bundle of joy home Sat. morning.

Only 6 Weeks to Go!!

I am now 34 weeks pregnant! We are getting excited and anxious about baby Dawson arriving soon! I am feeling really good although I am having a hard time sleeping at night! The pictures below are me at 32 weeks. Dawson is still moving like crazy and is very active in the womb, especially at night!

Couple's Shower

Some of our friends (Reade and Courtney) threw us a couple's baby shower on Sat. We had a great time and received some awesome and much needed gifts for Dawson! There was lots of good food, multiple games of "Washers" and lots of baby talk with all of my pregnant friends! We are so thankful for all of the wonderful friends we have in the military!

Baby Nursery

We have been working on the nursery. The theme is cowboy/western. It is looking really cute. We bought used baby furniture and painted it. There are still quite a few accessories we are planning on adding to the walls, etc.

6 Months and Growing!!

Baby Dawson is doing great! He is growing and so am I (as you can see below)! Brian and I get more and more excited as the time passes and as we get closer to my due date. He is very active and now Brian can feel him move from the outside. We got to go home to TX for two weddings and for a baby shower my sisters threw for me. In addition to all the wonderful gifts we received at the shower, my sisters passed on an abundance of boy clothes that belonged to my nephews!!! We are very thankful for everyone's generosity!

It's a Boy!!!

We had an ultra sound on April 29th. It was very exciting to see our baby and to find out it is a boy! We couldn't wait to start picking out boy stuff so we went ahead and registered at Target. I am 5 months along now and starting to show a little. I have been feeling him kick/move which is also fun! Double click on the pictures below to see them up close!
